My goal is to approach each character-each chapter with nuance. Draw on life experiences and uniquely portray complex individuals, ideas and conversations. I have had the fortune to travel extensively; to the ports of Alaska aboard oil tankers and to the streets of New Delhi in buses and taxis. Strict parenting grounds me in structure and respect, but life as a midwesterner allows me to let loose and enjoy a game, a dance and a good meal when work is done.
